File Preparation - Full Color Backgrounds
Using the editor you can your own full color backgrounds to be used
as a template for your
business cards, letterhead and stationery. As a
background, it will be anchored into position
so you can freely add or change the content on top.

The file should be a flat graphic, though all are acceptable, it is recommended to use PNG files.
The compression used in other formats can cause a loss of image quality.
The color mode should be RGB. If possible, using an image editing software, convert the file
to CMYK than back to RGB. This will insure that the colors use are all print safe and print quality
will not be affected.
All files are required to have 1/8" (0.125") bleed around the perimeter of your artwork.
(i.e., A business Card, which is 3.5 by 2 inches, the bleed edge is 1/8" (0.125") larger on
all four sides, making the total dimension, 3.75 by 2.25 inches.)
The bleed edge will be trimmed in production, and will not be a part of the final product.
On the editor, you will see the actual dimensions only and not the bleed edge.
All text and graphics must 1/8" (0.125") away from the edge of the card. Please make sure
